The SATO CL612 prints a full 6.5" wide image at 305 dots per inch (dpi) on labels up to 7" wide and at speeds to 8" per second. Print large format compliance labels, even those with high density barcodes, without rotating the images or slowing down the printer. 16 bar code symbologies and 22 text fonts are built into meet the requirements of a wide range of label printing applications.
A 32-bit high speed RISC processor is at the heart of every CL612. It also incorporates the exclusive SATO print head control circuit. This feature constantly monitors print head conditions and automatically adjusts print energy for optimum and consistent print quality.
While the SATO CL612 is a compact unit requiring minimal desktop space, it is designed for use in heavy duty industrial applications. It is built on a rigid chassis that is housed in a durable steel case to ensure consistent print quality and to protect it from the harsh environments found in manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This swing-open case and an unobstructed paper path make it fast and easy to load labels and ribbon. And it accommodates a full 8" roll of labels, keeping them clean, too! To keep maintenance costs low, the CL612's print head is user replaceable. No complicated adjustments or special tools are required. The CL612's operator control panel includes a two-line LCD panel for convenience. Configuring the SATO CL612 is fast and simple thanks to a full array of secondary controls.
Serial and parallel interfaces are standard in the SATO CL612. Circuitry within the printer automatically switches to the one receiving data; no user configuration settings or host commands are necessary to select an interface. The SATO CL612 includes a separate connector for attaching external accessories or for synchronization with other labeling equipment.
