The Intermec 6400 can run "plug-and-play" terminal emulations including VT220, 3270 SNA, 5250 SNA and Intermec Native Mode. It integrates with networks operating SNA, Async and TCP/IP. MS-DOS 5.0 is offered as a factory loaded option.

The Intermec 6400 386/33 MHz
processor and options for up to 8 MB of RAM speed through even the
most demanding applications so the user doesn’t have to wait.
Available 2.4 GHz radio with 1.6 Mbps of throughput means faster
response times. "Intelligent" batteries mean no more guessing
when a battery needs a charge.

an optional pistol grip easily attaches in seconds for users who
prefer "quick draw" scanning.

The latest in LiIon battery technology means no more worrying about special disposal procedures.
